Non-profit Underwriter, Human Services - Remote

Overview

The Non-profit Underwriter for Human Services will support agents and brokers in placing Healthcare and Human Services Professional Liability insurance coverage, while evaluating and analyzing risks based on underwriting guidelines.

• Manage a profitable book of Healthcare Medical Malpractice and Human Services business.
• Execute deliverables for quoting/binding business.
• Exercise sound underwriting judgment on pricing and applications.
• Report to the Vice President of Professional Liability.
• Work remotely or from Westlake, TX office.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Underwriting experience (5+ for managerial roles).
• Focus on medical malpractice and liability coverages.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of liability insurance policy wording.
