Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our client's fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will help design, build, and operationalize robust backend systems and machine learning infrastructure to validate and protect millions of oral history records collected across Africa. Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning models.
• Strong grasp of API design and system architecture.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and monitoring strategies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to innovate.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with MLOps tools is a plus.
• Experience in fraud detection projects is a plus.
