Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to build and maintain scalable, secure, and performant systems that power our SaaS platform.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Optimize system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with front-end teams and product stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails
• Strong computer science fundamentals and OOP principles
• Computer science degree preferred
• Experience with relational databases and API design
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
