In Short

• Manage Fullscript’s global tax team ensuring compliance across all tax functions.
• Build a world-class tax team by recruiting and developing top-tier talent.
• Establish and report on team KPIs to stakeholders.
• Liaise with external consultants effectively.
• Lead tax compliance-related matters including annual filing requirements.
• Oversee transfer pricing process and international reporting requirements.
• Develop strategies to optimize global cash tax payable.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and service providers.
• Review and recommend practices based on tax law changes.
• Collaborate with various departments on compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience as a Director or Senior Manager of Tax.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and US tax laws.
• Experience with GST/HST and US international taxes.
• Practical exposure to corporate structuring and transfer pricing.
• Experience with tax software like Avalara Avatax.
• Prior experience in an online marketplace/eCommerce environment.
• Project management experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Leadership experience with coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
