Overview

The PETA Foundation is seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Fundraising Manager to help develop and execute the next viral fundraising campaign. In this role, you will drive PETA’s peer-to-peer brands and virtual silent auction. This position is perfect for an experienced community fundraiser, well-organized project manager who can channel the power of community and mobilize donors to spark change.

• Manage and grow community support for various fundraising programs.

• Create comprehensive peer-to-peer fundraising plans.
• Oversee annual virtual silent auction.
• Manage online individual fundraising campaigns on social platforms.
• Design viral and micro fundraising campaigns.
• Develop personalized donor engagement strategies.
• Evaluate and audit P2P programs for growth opportunities.
• Develop creative marketing content for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage personal-event fundraising logistics.

Requirements

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in recruiting and managing volunteers.
• Minimum of two years of nonprofit experience.
• Knowledge of peer-to-peer and auction software platforms.
• Proficiency with social media platforms.
• Excellent project management and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel.
