DevOps Engineer - Remote

At Fruitist, we’re harnessing the power of data to revolutionize sustainable agriculture, and we’re looking for DevOps Engineers to help lead the way. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you’ll work with development teams to accelerate delivery, improve code quality and security, and streamline processes.

In Short

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in coding, development, and deployment.
• Collaborate in planning to enhance delivery timelines and process efficiency.
• Create and enforce coding standards, automating processes.
• Manage development and production environments, track metrics.
• Develop expertise in platform configuration management.
• Deploy applications across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Partner with developers to identify weaknesses in coding.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proven coding and scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Shell).
• Expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning.
• In-depth knowledge of on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Solid experience in continuous integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity-driven passion for learning.
