Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Frontify, you will play a critical role in evolving the platform capabilities and delivering useful tools to customers, while collaborating with a motivated team in a flexible work environment.

In Short

• Develop new features within a modular architecture.
• Migrate existing legacy code into the new architecture.
• Architect solutions ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams.
• Mentor junior developers through pair programming and code reviews.
• Work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or on-site in St. Gallen.
• Write readable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Familiar with test-driven development (TDD) and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Proficient in backend software engineering using PHP8+, GraphQL, REST, and MySQL.
• Fluent in English.

Requirements

• Experience in backend software engineering.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like TypeScript & React.
• Ability to manage legacy code.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience with Unit Testing.
• Fluency in English.
