Overview

The Head of Labour Relations will be responsible for building the Labour Relations team and developing a comprehensive strategy for collaboration with works councils in a Germany-wide active company.

• Establish the Labour Relations team and develop a strategy for collaboration with works councils.
• Create a strategic roadmap to ensure smooth operational processes.
• Conduct regular discussions with the general works council and local committees.
• Advise management on co-determination decisions and develop solutions that balance company goals and employee interests.
• Maintain stakeholder management and coordinate collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Set standards for collaboration with employee representatives and ensure consistent implementation.
• Lead and develop the Labour Relations team.

Requirements

• Completed studies in law, business law, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Labour/Employer Relations or as a lawyer specializing in collective labor law.
• Initial management experience and experience in team building.
• Very good knowledge of German labor law and experience in negotiating complex matters.
• Willingness to travel within Germany (approximately 3 times a month).
