VP of Finance - Remote

Overview

Freshpaint is seeking a VP of Finance who will be responsible for defining the financial strategy and executing it within a fully remote environment focused on healthcare data governance.

In Short

• Own all financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Design and operationalize the company’s financial infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain scalable financial models.
• Create operational discipline around budgeting and cash flow.
• Provide leadership with data-driven guidance on investments.
• Evaluate key cross-functional initiatives and provide recommendations.
• Ensure compliance and accurate reporting across finance functions.
• Partner closely with the CEO and executive team.
• Support fundraising and investor reporting.
• Build and scale a high-impact finance team.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven ability to partner with CEOs and boards.
• SaaS experience with a grasp of metrics and dynamics.
• Experience in fundraising and investor reporting.
• Strong command of financial modeling and decision making.
• Able to simplify complex financial concepts.
• High ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing managers and leading small teams.
• Comfortable overseeing a lean finance organization.
• Practical strategist with strong execution instincts.
