Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience, ideally in a startup.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, SQL, and AWS.
• Expert-level knowledge in software architecture and scalability.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead with emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive and curious about improving systems and processes.
• Experience in building high-performing teams.
• Commitment to creating a high-trust environment.
• Willingness to embrace accountability and lead by example.
• Passion for the mission of FreeWill and the nonprofit sector.
