Project Buyer - Remote

Overview

The Project Buyer will lead the sourcing process for Valeo's Project Team, supporting the Project Manager and ensuring compliance with the Group Segment Strategy.

• Lead sourcing process and support Project Manager.
• Suggest sourcing strategy compliant with Group Segment Strategy.
• Select supplier bid-list and identify bundle opportunities.
• Assess risk impact of pre-selected suppliers on projects.
• Propose mitigation plans with project team.
• Manage supplier contracts and ensure timely sign off.
• Define and control communication flows between teams and suppliers.
• Pilot and forecast project purchasing index.
• Ensure proper transfer to serial production.
• Participate in productivity action plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Science or Economics.
• 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing as Buyer.
• Experience in the automotive sector.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Very good communication skills.
• Teamwork spirit and results orientation.
