The Part-time Helpdesk Technician at Fountain House plays a crucial role in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and members, ensuring effective operations for individuals with serious mental illness.

In Short

  • Part-time position with up to 20 hours per week.
  • Work hours available from Monday to Friday, either 9am-5pm or 12noon-8pm.
  • Assist with basic technical support for Windows and Apple systems.
  • Set up laptops for new hires and manage account access issues.
  • Install and configure printing software for staff and members.
  • Handle ticketing tasks using NinjaRMM software.
  • Provide remote support via Zoom and Teams.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Travel to Bronx and Harlem Clubhouses as needed.
  • Join a mission-driven team focused on mental health advocacy.

Requirements

  • Clubhouse experience is required.
  • Experience with UniFlow, NinjaRMM, Windows, and Apple macOS is beneficial.
  • Customer service experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
