Accounting Assistant - Remote

Overview

As an Accounting Assistant at Forward Financing, you will work as part of the accounting team to ensure the highest-level customer service to small business customers by confirming funding amounts, reconciling applications, and processing accounts payable.

In Short

• Review and release daily funding to small business customers.
• Identify and apply cash payments.
• Investigate discrepancies and payment rejections.
• Verify and reconcile internal applications daily.
• Work on operational projects as they arise.
• Support Collections and Sales teams as needed.
• Assist in accounts payable and purchasing processes.
• Help with month-end close tasks.
• Prepare reporting for the accounting manager.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and comfortable with deadlines.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
