Fraud Analyst, Digital Banking - Remote

Overview

The Fraud Analyst is responsible for identifying and preventing fraud within the Digital Banking department by using various systems and models, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and bank policy.

In Short

• Review and decision new account applications and transactions for accuracy and potential fraud
• Create and escalate cases for BSA/AML or management review
• Investigate incidents, conduct in-depth analysis, document findings, and prepare detailed reports
• Review and clear alerts/rules for transaction monitoring
• Identify and communicate fraud trends with stakeholders
• Contact customers and financial institutions for additional information
• Assess patterns, transactions, and detect suspicious activities
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations
• Provide guidance to other operations personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of fraud detection/deterrence banking industry experience required
• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred
• Familiarity with banking rules and regulations required
• CFE Credential is a plus
• APRP/AAP Credential is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with banking applications highly desired
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Minimum required internet speed of 75 Mbps download
• Able to provide weekend coverage
