Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant at Foodsmart will support day-to-day operational accounting activities and ensure compliance with GAAP while contributing to process improvements.

In Short

• Support day-to-day operational accounting activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business transactions.
• Compile budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Assist with external audits.
• Manage cash management activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with RCM billings/medical claims management is a plus.
