Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Foodsmart, you will develop both user-facing frontend and backend systems, contributing to a platform that promotes healthier food choices and delivers personalized nutrition guidance.

In Short

Develop and maintain the full-stack Foodsmart web application.
Design and implement robust, scalable backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers on frontend interfaces.
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
Monitor and optimize system performance and security.
Stay updated on emerging technologies for future development.
Work closely with product teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
Debug and fix issues across frontend and backend systems.
Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda and EC2.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience with low-code platforms like Retool is a plus.
