Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer I at Flywire, you will be instrumental in enhancing our development ecosystem, ensuring compliance with fintech regulations, and supporting developers in a collaborative environment.

In Short

• Work across the entire stack, including frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to the vision of Flywire’s development ecosystem.
• Collaborate with various internal teams such as Security, QA, and Engineering Productivity.
• Support on-call rotation and improve production incident responses.
• Maintain and enhance internal CI and CD platforms.
• Reduce tooling complexity and improve local development experiences.
• Pursue full DevSecOps practices.
• Drive towards zero-trust networking.
• Push DataOps initiatives forward.

Requirements

• Experience with Ruby and Golang, along with testing techniques like TDD or BDD.
• Knowledge of container ecosystems and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ownership.
• Ability to empathize with fellow developers to find effective solutions.
