Senior Front-End Angular Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Front-End Engineer will focus on refactoring our existing codebase to upgrade to the latest version of Angular to optimize front-end build times, performance, and the overall code management. You’ll work on both maintaining and improving existing features, as well as developing new features where needed. As part of a small, distributed team, you’ll be key to improving performance and ensuring the application can scale effectively. We’re particularly interested in offshore candidates with strong Angular expertise.

• Refactor and upgrade the existing AngularJS/Angular 7 codebase to the latest Angular 17.
• Transition components to Web Components using Angular Elements.
• Utilize Tailwind CSS for responsive styling.
• Optimize build times for front-end development.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate REST APIs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for code refactoring and optimization.
• Develop new front-end features while ensuring code quality.
• Improve developer workflows for faster feature development.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues for a smooth user experience.
• Track and report work using JIRA.

Requirements

• 4+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular (8 or higher) and AngularJS.
• Knowledge of Web Components and modern Angular best practices.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Coding experience in TypeScript and NodeJS.
• Experience with REST APIs and various databases.
• Familiarity with caching systems like Redis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Docker.
• Strong communication skills, focusing on documentation.
