Android Developer Intern - Remote

Overview

Join our dynamic development team as an Android Developer Intern and gain hands-on experience working in a global development environment. You'll collaborate directly with our experienced Android development team based in India, along with our US-based engineering team, while contributing to real-world mobile applications used by operators across the country. In Short

• Assist in developing and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Work on feature development, bug fixes, and code optimization
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices
• Help with app testing, debugging, and performance monitoring
• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications
• Collaborate regularly with our global development team
• Participate in standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
• Interface with customers to optimize processes

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Completed work in mobile app development or object-oriented programming
• Basic knowledge of Android development (Android Studio, Kotlin/Java)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in team environments
• Comfortable with video conferencing and remote collaboration tools
• Flexible schedule to accommodate some overlap with offshore time zone (early morning or evening calls)
