Senior Embedded HiL Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

Flock Safety is seeking an Embedded HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated validation systems for our STM32-based Drone as a First Responder (DFR) products. This role is pivotal in building a robust, scalable test framework that ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of our aviation infrastructure.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain automated validation systems.
• Own the full lifecycle of the HIL test environment.
• Define hardware setup and build simulation frameworks.

• 5+ years experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with MCU firmware development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Comfortable in Linux-based environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded systems development and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with HIL or SIL test systems.
• Understanding of hardware interfaces: SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB.
• Experience using Git workflows.
