Overview

Flock Safety is seeking a skilled Product Validation Engineer II to join our Device OS Team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software and firmware stack on our solar-powered Linux-based devices.

Requirements

• BSEE or BSCE with 3+ years of experience in device validation.
• Solid understanding of Low-level C Programming.
• Experience with lab equipment like scopes and DMMs.
• High-level scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Linux internals and embedded systems.
• Experience in designing and executing test plans.
• Understanding of chipset bring-up in Linux or Android.
• Comfortable with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
