The Patient Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes by conducting outreach and enrollment processes, ensuring trust and engagement through effective communication.

In Short

  • Conduct outbound welcome calls to patients across multiple time zones.
  • Complete 40+ patient enrollments per week.
  • Document 100+ call attempts weekly, ensuring patient engagement.
  • Use scripts to deliver empathetic patient interactions.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in the portal.
  • Schedule Welcome Calls with Care Counselors promptly.
  • Review patient eligibility and prepare charts in advance.
  • Escalate clinical questions to the care team when necessary.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in healthcare customer service or call center.
  • Strong phone communication skills and confidence in healthcare discussions.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing high call volumes.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in EHR platforms or CRMs.
  • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in patient scheduling or insurance verification is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Russian) is a plus.
