As the Technical Revenue Accounting Lead at Fivetran, you will oversee technical revenue accounting initiatives, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and integrating solutions into financial systems.

• Lead evaluation of non-standard customer contracts for ASC 606 compliance.
• Evaluate revenue impact of new pricing models and product launches.
• Maintain ASC 606 policy and conduct SSP analyses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
• Identify gaps in technical policies and operational processes.
• Support OTC architecture reviews and optimize revenue recognition systems.
• Act as a liaison between Revenue Accounting and other teams.
• Participate in contract reviews to resolve revenue recognition issues.
• Prepare for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate on technical compliance with business objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical revenue accounting under ASC 606.
• CPA required.
• Experience in SaaS or technology companies.
• Understanding of OTC processes.
• Experience with revenue recognition systems like NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
