APAC Research Analyst Contractor - Remote

Overview

The contractor will be part of the APAC Research Team and will be responsible for the monitoring of economic, political, and regulatory developments in the Developed APAC region (Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand). This position is a remote research contractor role, requiring 1–3 years of work experience.

• Conducting primary and secondary research to monitor macroeconomic, political, and business developments in the Developed APAC region.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's (or preferably Master’s) degree in a relevant field, ideally Economics.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.
• Strong economics knowledge through academic coursework or practical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of key Developed APAC markets.
• Research experience including hypothesis-testing and structuring complex projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
• Ability to cover a variety of topics, including unfamiliar ones.
• Familiarity with quantitative economic analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A team-oriented mindset.
