Overview

First Help Financial is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support its growing Accounting department. This is a temporary three-month assignment.

In Short

  • Position: Accounting Assistant
  • Location: Remote/anywhere within the USA
  • Compensation: $19.58/hr
  • Responsibilities include payment and bank transaction reconciliations, GL accounts reconciliations, and maintaining accounting databases.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Experience with Sage Intact is a plus.
  • Temporary three-month assignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • At least 1 year’s experience related to bank reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including strong Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience with Sage Intact is a huge plus.
