Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer who has a passion for leading and building exceptional solutions that deliver and fulfill the needs of our customers. This Software Engineer will help drive development into the next growth phase.

In Short

• Continuously deliver customer value through delivery of software features
• Write maintainable code in a professional agile software engineering environment
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight
• Work with a team implementing new features and supporting current services/applications
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services and applications
• Evaluate modern technologies to improve rapid application development tooling
• Regularly learn new systems and tools as the FireMon platform evolves
• Utilize principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions

Requirements

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills
• College degree, bootcamp certification, or be self-taught
• History of delivering impactful solutions
• Applicable knowledge of agile development practices
• Experience designing and implementing domain-level architectures
• Significant hands-on experience with Linux Administration, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Python, C/C++, Java, Spring Frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, CI/CD tools, IaC tools, and Cloud Administration
• Performance testing and profiling experience
• Microservices Architecture knowledge
• Networking and/or Security experience is a big plus
