Network Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Network Security Engineer is responsible for Network Security software development, including collaborating on developing requirements, writing technical specifications, designing, coding, and working with a team on testing and deployment.

In Short

• Partner with Product Management, Development, and other Engineers to install and support firewall management solutions.
• Provide technical expertise during the application development process.
• Build and maintain test labs.
• Assist in testing software solutions.
• Gather all the technical requirements for integrating with security devices.
• Learn the security device's inner workings.
• Work with product managers, architects, and developers on software integration.
• Create and execute test cases.
• Serve as a support escalation point for complex issues.
• Create internal KB documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of network design and support experience.
• Expertise in networking and/or security.
• Experience with packet trace and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with network security tools such as firewalls and IPS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regex experience.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
