Senior and Lead Product Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Product Engineer at Filmhub, you will solve real customer problems through technical expertise, working within a multidisciplinary team to build backend and frontend systems for film distribution.

In Short

• Provide technical leadership and guidance for the Product Engineering team.
• Guide and mentor team members in technical aspects.
• Make decisions on technology stack and overall system structure.
• Work in a cross-functional team with design, product, operations, and engineering.
• Ship a change to production on your first day.
• Contribute to technical design meetings and project execution.
• Write full-stack TypeScript code for web apps with React and NextJS.
• Write backend code in Typescript and occasionally Python.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Typescript, JavaScript, React.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma or similar ORM.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of API best practices.
• Experience with NextJS and serverless APIs preferred.
• Understanding of modern web applications and distributed systems.
• Passion for mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
