The Principal Software Engineer position will work directly with the Architects for the design of functional solutions and be accountable for road mapping and the delivery of the solution in the new business operations processing. This role will have ownership over the delivery of multiple, complex business facing technologies (ecosystem) to deliver business outcomes for Order entry, case management and Underwriting processes.

In Short

Lead the design, coding, testing, and documenting of software solutions.
Mentor and coach other developers.
Perform unit, regression, security, and load tests.
Own the technical aspects of the function, including critical SaaS/3rd Party/Custom applications.
Develop complex programs/queries to support transactional processing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
10+ years of hands-on technical experience.
Significant experience with various SDLC methodologies.
Prior leadership experience.
Experience with secure development practices.
