Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for teams working on multiple, concurrent data integration projects. In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams to design and implement functional solutions, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of data pipelines and integration processes.

• Provide technical leadership, mentor, and guide select team members.

• Serve as a resource for data analysis and data engineering tasks, supporting ongoing projects.
• Develop and implement ETL workflows using tools such as Informatica, scripting, and load utilities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop functional solutions that meet data and business requirements.
• Ensure the smooth operation of data integration processes, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proficiency in SQL Server with strong T-SQL query writing and data model interpretation skills.
• Extensive experience writing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for data interfaces and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with MS SSRS, MS SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Data Management Cloud.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting near real-time data pipelines and analytical solutions, preferably using Informatica.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL support and production data operations, including file processing, data distribution, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis.
