Overview

The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist plays a critical role in scaling marketing effectiveness through technology optimization and data-driven decision making. This position manages complex marketing automation platforms, creates personalized customer experiences, and provides analytical insights that drive marketing strategy. The role requires deep technical proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

In Short

• Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to create, build and maintain complex & personalized automated customer journeys.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and experience in executing on strategic marketing automation roadmap.
• Act as SME for testing and new capabilities with vendor.
• Build dynamically targeted lists using business criteria and understanding data flow between CRM and automation tools.
• Experience with marketing automation concepts and ability to build and execute long-term strategy for SFMC.
• Provide technical support and leadership by bridging content and data using AMPscript and SQL code.
• Administer content management system, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Manage marketing technology platforms, performing analysis on processes and functionality.
• Improve reporting capabilities out of current systems to help drive insights.
• Act as mentor to other team members, train as backup, answer questions to broaden others skillset.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• 2+ years in email marketing best practices and multi-channel campaign management.
• Ability to configure, test, implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns.
• Working knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, Tableau, HTML and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of CRM integrations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
