Overview

Ferguson is seeking a Lead Network Security Engineer to manage global firewall infrastructure and enhance security services for the enterprise.

In Short

• Manage operational activities across global firewall infrastructure.
• Advocate for enhanced Network Security services.
• Mentor lower-level engineers and act as a Domain Expert.
• Evaluate existing security infrastructure and propose changes.
• Respond to service and critical issue tickets within SLA expectations.
• Drive security efficiencies within the team.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure data and system security.
• Develop security test plans from architectural design.
• Identify deficiencies and enhance security measures.
• Adhere to policies and perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Palo Alto Networks certifications required.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols such as BGP.
• Experience managing large enterprise firewalls.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies.
• Experience in cybersecurity and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
