Network Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

Binary Defense is seeking a client-facing Network Security Engineer to serve as a hands-on contributor within a clients’ Security Engineering function. This is a technical position responsible for the full-scope configuration, change management, and implementation of a client’s micro segmentation and firewall policies.

In Short

• Lead client technical policy definitions and optimize Guardicore and Firemon capabilities.
• Analyze network traffic to determine appropriate traffic patterns.
• Build allowlists and blocklists for network traffic.
• Analyze technical policies to determine appropriate rulesets.
• Complete integrations with other tools, if requested.
• Create and document operational processes.
• Document architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and architecture roles.
• Strong Network background with a focus on Security.
• Deep understanding of common network ports and protocols in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in attacker TTPs.
