In Short

• Build and maintain scalable AI-powered backends and infrastructure to power our mobile apps
• Design, implement and monitor AI workflows that run reliably in production
• Work closely with AI engineers, product managers, and developers to deliver end-to-end features
• Architect and optimize Firestore and other database structures for both performance and flexibility
• Write clean, testable, and efficient Python code; optionally contribute to Node.js services
• Develop internal logging, reporting, and testing mechanisms for tracking product health and quality
• Set up and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Use Docker to containerize services and simplify development and deployment workflows
• Deploy and manage services on cloud infrastructure

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development
• Strong Python skills with production experience
• Working knowledge of Node.js is a plus
• Experience with the Firebase ecosystem, especially Cloud Functions and Firestore
• Hands-on experience managing AI/ML workflows in production
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (GCP preferred)
• Familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus)
• Strong grasp of database design for scalability, flexibility, and performance
• Solid experience with Docker and container-based workflows
• Curiosity and agility to pick up tools like Firebase or React Native quickly if not already known
• A hands-on mindset: someone who enjoys building, not just planning
• Familiarity with startup culture, fast-paced and high-ownership environments, where adaptability is key
• Systemic thinking, from database architecture to product flow and edge-case handling
