Program Manager, Innovation - Remote

Overview

An individual with a growth mindset is sought to build and execute initiatives supporting commercialization and venture creation, primarily out of Federal labs and research institutions.

• Plan and manage program budgets and project plans.
• Lead day-to-day operations of stakeholder relations and innovation activities.
• Organize community engagement events for innovators and entrepreneurs.
• Establish new venture incubation programs for early-stage ventures.
• Advise startups on business model development and commercialization.
• Manage and develop team members in a collaborative environment.
• Support entrepreneurship education and coaching programs.
• Identify new support organizations to enhance incubation services.
• Participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in venture growth or project/program management.
• 5+ years in the energy, climate, or life sciences sectors.
• Ability to prioritize client needs and align program design with objectives.
• Passion for environmental sustainability.
• P&L ownership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with program management capabilities.
• Curious and methodical problem-solving approach.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $108,000 - $124,000.
