Customer Solutions Engineer (Senior Cloud Engineer) - Remote

Overview

Fastly is seeking a passionate Customer Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact for our customers, building long-term relationships through proactive assistance and technical expertise.

In Short

• Act as the primary technical contact for key clients.
• Develop technical relationships and understand client needs.
• Post-sales implementation of Fastly products.
• Identify challenges and develop solutions for customers.
• Advocate for customers within Fastly.
• Provide mentorship to new Cloud Engineers.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and management.
• Participate in customer meetings and strategy development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical background in CDNs, Cloud, and internet infrastructure.
• Experience with HTTP, TCP, TLS, DNS protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and web platforms.
• Knowledge of *nix operating systems.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
