Quality Control Analyst/Tester - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst / Tester to work alongside a Business Analyst, Power Platform Architect / Lead Senior Developer, and cross-functional delivery team. This role is responsible for planning and executing manual and automated testing on business application software, ensuring high quality across apps, workflows, integrations, and data.

In Short

• Define and maintain test strategy and test plans for business application delivery.
• Create and manage test suites, test cases, and test execution cycles in Azure DevOps.
• Design and build automated test scripts for regression and critical-path validation.
• Validate acceptance criteria with the Business Analyst and technical feasibility with the Architect.
• Log, triage, and track defects in Azure DevOps.
• Support release readiness by providing test completion reports and defect summaries.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and advise on test effort and risk early.
• Continuously improve QC practices and test data management.

Requirements

• 4+ years in QC/testing roles with a blend of manual and automation testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Management.
• Experience testing low-code/SaaS/web applications.
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Ability to validate data and integrations using Postman or equivalent.
• Solid communication skills and ability to work closely with developers and analysts.
