Overview

The Laboratory/Diagnostics Officer provides technical guidance around the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Activity's laboratory/diagnostic strategy to support implementation.

In Short

  • Collaborates with monitoring, evaluation, and learning teams.
  • Ensures effective communication with clients and staff.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in technical assistance and data collection.
  • Proven knowledge in infectious disease diagnostics.
  • Experience with laboratory quality standards.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Proficiency in database management software.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
