Director, Laboratory Informatics - Remote

Overview

The Director, Laboratory Informatics is responsible for the Laboratory Information Management Software (LIMS) product strategy and development to support laboratory operations of Foresight’s diagnostic tests.

In Short

• Lead the vision, strategy and roadmap for the LabVantage Lab Information Management System (LIMS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high throughput lab operations focused on automation.
• Build software tools for assay execution, sample management, and lab performance management.
• Collaborate with software engineering and bioinformatics teams.
• Partner with Lab Operations leaders to ensure efficient lab operations.
• Define and track KPIs to discover future product opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management including lab operations software.
• Strong to expert knowledge of LabVantage LIMS.
• Experience building and implementing LIMS in an NGS lab.
• Prior LIMS experience in sample and equipment management.
• Strong understanding of running a high throughput lab.
• Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly adaptable and motivated to work in a high-performance environment.
