Software Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this position, you will develop software in .NET/C# and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, working closely with the Company’s Professional Services Department Development Team to support and enhance projects utilizing the latest technologies on the Microsoft platform.

• Develop software in .NET/C# and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS.
• Join the Professional Services Department Development Team.
• Involved in all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle.
• Design and develop new applications/components primarily in C#.
• Maintain and enhance existing software.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Assist in evaluating third-party software.
• Follow source control policies and procedures.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with .NET/C# and SOAP Web services/REST API.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/HTML5/CSS; React JS is a plus.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and independent thinking.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle best practices.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Design and design patterns is a plus.
• Competent in Microsoft products and modern software systems.
• Ability to self-learn and be resourceful.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
