People Operations Specialist (Temporary) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Specialist to provide temporary coverage for maternity leave, from December 2025 to May 2026. This role will be crucial in leading key functions within Employee Relations & Engagement, Compliance & Benefits Management, and Employee Lifecycle Management. You will also be responsible for ensuring benefits and legal compliance, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the overall employee experience across the organization during this interim period.

In Short

• Manage benefits and compliance, including open enrollment and processing Qualifying Life Events (QLEs).
• Enhance employee engagement and relations as the first point of contact for issues.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including managing employee data and payroll.
• Drive operational excellence and process improvements for HR operations.
• Aid in talent development and performance management programs.
• Execute compliance tasks including I9 verifications for new hires.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources/People Operations.
• Proficient with HR tools and systems; experience with Rippling HRIS and Payroll preferred.
• Knowledge of US Benefits and employment laws.
• Experience in employee engagement and relations.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Benefits

• Total base salary of $35.00 - $50.00 hourly.
• This role is temporary and not eligible for benefits.
