The Hospital Contract Definition Analyst plays a critical role in implementing and maintaining hospital payer contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reimbursement methodologies.

  • Analyze and maintain hospital payer contracts using Experian Health's Contract Manager software.
  • Research payer websites and regulatory sources to stay current on reimbursement policies.
  • Validate system-generated valuations against client-submitted claims.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings for project agreement and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to process improvements for data accuracy.
  • 3+ years experience in hospital industry and payer contracts.
  • 2+ years experience with hospital billing and claims management.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, DRG, and ICD-10.
  • Flexible work environment with remote options.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in the hospital industry.
  • 2+ years direct experience with hospital billing and payer contracting.
  • In-depth knowledge of facility reimbursement models.
  • Proficiency in coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, DRG, Revenue Codes, and ICD-10.
  • Ability to learn new reimbursement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
