Overview

The Hospital Contract Definition Analyst plays a critical role in the implementation and maintenance of hospital payer contracts within Experian Health's Contract Manager system.

In Short

  • Ensure accurate modeling of reimbursement methodologies to support valuation of hospital claims.
  • Collaborate with senior team members for new client implementations.
  • Manage routine maintenance cases ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Analyze and maintain hospital payer contracts including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Research payer websites and regulatory sources for current rules.
  • Validate system-generated valuations against client-submitted claims.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings for project agreement.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in the hospital industry.
  • 2+ years' experience with hospital billing and claims management.
  • 2+ years' knowledge of reimbursement models used by payers.
  • Proficiency in coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
