Healthcare Data Conversion Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Data Conversion Analyst supports OCHIN’s mission by helping new members extract data from their previous EHR systems and import it into OCHIN’s Epic system.

In Short

• Participate in shaping and growing OCHIN’s Data Conversion product line.
• Analyze healthcare data in HL7, CDA, CSV, and SQL formats.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Develop and update technical and business documentation.
• Work with JIRA tickets and manage data conversions.
• Provide quality assurance on data conversion work.
• Participate in internal process improvement projects.
• Assist with additional Interface projects as assigned.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with healthcare data and EHRs.
• Experience with Mirth or another interface engine.
• Strong technical proficiency with JavaScript and SQL.
• Ability to learn in a self-directed environment.
• Knowledge of data transformations and HL7 standard.
• Troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Certified in Epic Bridges or able to obtain certification.
• Able to establish goals and set priorities.
• Excellent communication skills.
