Overview

The Business Analyst, Claims Status is responsible for Experian Health claims status solutions, representing the product to external clients and managing customer interests internally. This role involves reviewing, managing, and resolving claim status support tickets while assisting in the testing of new web capture builds.

In Short

  • Monitor ECS and EDI Claim Status responses to ensure transaction health.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating new payer builds.
  • Create documentation for enhanced data available by payer response.
  • Participate in client reviews to demonstrate product ROI.
  • Support resolution of complex SalesForce cases.
  • Manage vendor procedures related to client and payer credentials.
  • Monitor third-party vendor transaction health and accuracy.
  • Work with internal teams for testing and production validation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of claim status solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and commercial insurance policies.
  • Proficient in database platforms like Excel and Access.
  • Understanding of X12 276/277 claim status responses.
  • Knowledge of X12 277CA, 837, 835, and 999 transaction sets.
