API DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced API DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Experian, where you will work on building, testing, deploying, and maintaining API platforms and infrastructure.

In Short

• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for API and enterprise applications.
• Design, implement, and manage efficient procedures and pipelines for API deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new deployment processes.
• Ensure critical resolution of system issues using cloud security solutions.
• Oversee pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
• Manage and document system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Provide on-call support for Level 3 issues and QA testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise in Amazon EKS for Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Experience with APIs and API management platforms.
• Proficiency in QA testing methodologies and tools (Tosca, Postman).
