Survey Scout Trainee - Remote

Overview

The Survey Scout Trainee will assist in discovering property corner monuments and performing preliminary reconnaissance under the supervision of a Regional Field Manager, with the aim of progressing into a Survey Field Crew Chief.

In Short

• Work under the supervision of a Regional Field Manager.
• Discover and expose property corner monuments.
• Use a magnetic locator and shovel for scouting.
• Travel frequently between job sites in a company vehicle.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Participate in a structured training program.
• Must lift up to 70 pounds with assistance.
• Work Monday through Friday with some weekends required.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to learn about land surveying principles.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Self-starter with limited supervision capability.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.
• Able to work individually or in a team.
• Assist in the care of survey equipment.
• Available for overtime and weekend work.
• Must perform duties safely and ethically.
