The Survey Scout Apprenticeship Program at Exacta Land Surveyors involves discovering property corner monuments and preparing for survey crews under the supervision of a Regional Field Manager. This role requires outdoor work and travel between job sites.

In Short

• Discover property corner monuments.
• Perform preliminary reconnaissance for survey crews.
• Use a magnetic locator and shovel for property surveys.
• Travel frequently to various job sites.
• Understand legal survey documents.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Lift and move objects up to 70 pounds.
• Work Monday through Friday with some weekends required.
• Participate in a structured training program.
• Provide customer service as needed.

Requirements

• Self-starter with limited supervision capability.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.
• Able to work individually or in teams.
• Assist in the care of survey equipment.
• Remove debris that interferes with scouting.
• Work scheduled overtime and weekends as needed.
• Attend daily check-in meetings.
