Senior Business Analyst – Insights & Analytics - Remote

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr Business Analyst to join our Global Insights & Analytics Team. As the Sr Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, acting as a liaison between our analytics and data engineering teams. This role demands expertise in data analysis, reporting, and data modeling.

In Short

• Collect, assess, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
• Develop and refine data models that support reporting and business intelligence tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives
• Conduct thorough data validation and testing to ensure accuracy & completeness
• Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze data, develop reports, and create data visualizations
• Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate data solutions that enhance business intelligence capabilities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and data optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, data stewardship, or a related role
• Strong expertise in SQL and Excel for data manipulation, validation, and analysis
• In-depth experience in data modeling and designing scalable data structures
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline design
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
