Overview

The Rare Sales Associate plays an integral role in supporting and building collaborative relationships with physicians and clinics while embracing and executing marketing and sales strategies as a junior representative.

• Assist in developing and executing strategic business plans based on local market conditions.
• Promote client’s products to healthcare providers and conduct sales calls.
• Provide double coverage for high-priority healthcare providers.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and advocacy groups.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share market insights.
• Demonstrate knowledge of payer coverage for promoted products.
• Ensure operational compliance to professional standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Travel up to 80% of the time to cover territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required.
• Up to 2 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong interest in pharmaceutical sales.
• Ability to meet financial obligations with understanding of clinical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license clear of violations.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
